WPSA Conference Fee Waiver Policy

Everyone who attends the annual meeting of the WPSA is required to pay the conference fees, with the following exceptions: (1) paid employees; (2) undergraduates who contribute at least three hours of volunteer work for the association; (3) graduate students who contribute at least six hours of volunteer work for the association; (4) journalists covering the conference; (5) non- political science guests who are invited to participate on panels, plenary talks, and similar events, and who attend only for the purpose of that participation; (6) individuals who were not planning to attend the conference, but have been asked at the last minute to fill open positions as panel chairs and discussants; and (7) family members who do not gain professional benefits from attending.
