WPSA Celebrates 75 Years Young!

Not long after the end of the Second World War, a group of university professors began to discuss creating a regional political science association for the western United States. Those initial discussions eventually led to the creation of the Western Political Science Association at a meeting at the University of Utah in November 1947.

The WPSA will be celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2022. As part of the celebration, we are planning a variety of special events, receptions, panels, and presentations at our annual conference. We especially encourage you to join us in 2022 in Portland so you can participate in this celebration. Come, even if you are not presenting! A good time will be had by all.
